Family Promise Ministry at First Baptist Roswell

Family Promise supports families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, helping them regain stability and build a brighter future. As a host congregation, First Baptist Roswell partners with Family Promise North Fulton/DeKalb to welcome families into our church for one week each quarter.

You can be part of this meaningful ministry by volunteering, donating, or staying informed. To receive updates, email your name to familypromise@fbroswell.org.

Volunteer Opportunities:

Meal Preparation
Provide dinner for one evening during our host week (7 nights total). Meals may be home-cooked or takeout.   Volunteers are welcome—but not required—to stay and visit with families. Individuals or groups may serve.

Overnight Hosts
Stay overnight at the church for one evening during the host week. Responsibilities are minimal—simply be present in case assistance is needed. Couples are welcome (two beds provided). Please bring your own linens.

Set Up & Move Out
Help prepare guest rooms before families arrive and assist with packing up at the end of the week.

Laundry
Take home a bag or two of laundry after the host week and return within a few weeks.

Donations

• $25 Kroger or Walmart gift cards are especially helpful for groceries and supplies. Drop off at the church office.
• Financial contributions can be made by designating “Family Promise” on your offering envelope or selecting the Family Promise account when giving online.

Together, we can offer hope, hospitality, and support to families in need.
