Lent and Easter Services
Join us for Holy Week as we begin with Palm Sunday, featuring a joyful palm processional led by our children and youth, and continue with our Maundy Thursday Tenebrae service, reflecting on Jesus’ final hours through Scripture, the Lord’s Supper, and the service of shadows. Celebrate the resurrection on Easter Sunday, with worship at 8:30 or 11 AM, filled with joyful music and the proclamation, “Christ is Risen! He Is Risen Indeed!”
Palm Sunday, March 29 at 11 AM
Begin Holy Week with a joyful celebration! Our service opens with celebration as our children and youth lead us in worship by processing in palm branches with shouts of “Hosanna,” remembering Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem as we prepare for His final days.
Maundy Thursday Tenebrae, April 2 at 7 PM
Often referred to as a “service of shadows,” woven together through a scriptural dramatization, this Tenebrae service recalls Jesus’ final moments, beginning in the upper room as we remember and partake in the Lord’s Supper before moving to Jesus’ crucifixion, death, and burial. As the service progresses, darkness grows as we extinguish candles before culminating in our recessional to veil the cross on our front lawn.
Easter Sunday, April 5 at 8:30 & 11 AM
Rejoice in the resurrection of Christ as we proclaim, “Christ is Risen! He Is Risen Indeed!” through word and song. At 8:30 AM, join the celebration led by soloists and instruments. At 11:00 AM, the combined voices and instruments of our Music & Worship Ministry lead us as we exclaim, “Alleluia!”
