VBS 2025: True North

Save the date for Vacation Bible School 2025!
Vacation Bible School (VBS) is from June 9 through June 13, 2025. 2025’s theme is True North: Trusting Jesus in a Wild World. At True North VBS, kids will will go on an unforgettable Alaskan adventure where the northern lights shine over majestic mountains, racing rivers, and sparkling glaciers. As they trek the tundra, they’ll discover how easy it is to lose sight of what’s true in our wild world today. Guiding them towards Jesus, True North VBS reveals that He is a faithful friend we can always trust. He’s our True North!. VBS is open to children aged 4 (as of September 1, 2024) through 5th grade. Meet in our Sanctuary at 9 am. VBS concludes at 12 noon each day.
Each day at VBS True North, kids launch into field-tested rotations that reinforce relevant Bible Points and immerse kids in new adventures. Stations include:
- Sing and Play Peak – kids will start the day with high-energy music, and meet a new Bible Memory Buddy each day.
- Wild Bible Adventures – kids will trek through powerful Bible stories that demonstrate how Jesus is their unmovable, unshakable friend forever!
- Imagination Station – the sciency spot for creativity, discovery, and surprising faith connections!
- Glacier Games – combine wild fun with meaningful learning about each day’s Bible Point!
- Tundra Treats – all crews come together to refuel with a themed snack that connects with the day’s Bible Point.
- Sticky Scripture – Immerse in the daily Scripture, understand the words, where they are in Scripture, and how the verse applies today.
- Compass Closing – wrap up the day with cool science experiments, skits, and music that all tie to the daily Bible Point.
