The Children and Youth Music Ministries provide opportunities for vocal development, sound choral training, and nurturing in the foundations of our faith to children ranging from age 4 through grade 12.
Children’s Choirs are a combination of choir groups of children ranging from age 4 through grade 6. Each choir has leadership, collectively referred to as children’s choir workers, that consist of a director, one or more assistant teachers and an outreach leader. Each of our choirs offer places to explore God-given talents, as well as many means of worshiping God through a variety of percussion instruments including many varied drums and Orff instruments. The Children’s Choirs Finale each spring includes all groups and is a wonderful opportunity for parents to witness the difference in music skills learned at each level, as well as, a chance for children to experience worship through music at all ages and see what they have accomplished. Each choir participates in worship services throughout the year, as well as special concerts and off-site mission opportunities.
