SAFE Seminar
August 24th and 25th

Our SAFE (Sexual Awareness and Family Empowerment) Seminar a few years ago was fantastic and Leann Gardner is coming back! Mark your calendars for August 24th and 25th. We will spend Friday night and Saturday morning talking about how to keep your kids safe physically, spiritually, and emotionally. Learn how and when to have the conversation about the birds and the bees and how to deal with technology and your child. $60 a couple includes childcare, snacks, and lunch on Saturday.

Services in July: There will be no 8:30AM service during the month of July. We will only have the 11:00AM service.

A note about Summer: Last year, the ministers decided to start dressing in accordance with the church calendar. During special times of year like Advent and Lent, the ministers wear liturgical robes in recognition of the significance of the season. During June and July, the ministers will be dressed more casually. As always, we encourage you to dress as you feel comfortable, regardless of the time of year.

This special experience is an opportunity for parents, children and teachers to receive five days of focused attention on instrument study and the application of Dr. Suzuki’s principles of Talent Education. If you would like more information or would like to sign up, please visit atlantasuzuki.org.

Faces of FBR: In an effort to celebrate all the wonderful events, activities and mission projects here at FBR, we are going to be displaying pictures of FBR events all around the church. If you take photos at church events, we want to see them! This will be an ongoing project, and we will change pictures out as new events occur. Send pictures to info@fbroswell.org, and they just might end up on the wall or on the website! (JPEG format. No larger than 1MB. Resolution 300dpi for wall and 72dpi for website).
