Backpacks of Love

We are partnering with local schools and Backpacks of Love to provide cleaning products, gift cards, and household items.  Backpacks of Love serves homeless and at-risk children and their families by providing food and accompanying items.  Donations are needed!  Wish list items include:

• Gas and transportation gift cards (QuikTrip, RaceTrac, Shell, Uber, Lyft)
• Paper towels
• Toilet paper
• Household cleaning items (dish soap, disinfectant cleaner, glass cleaner, multi-surface cleaner)
• Laundry detergent, dryer sheets
• AA  and AAA batteries
• Personal hygiene items for men and women (face cloths, lotion, deodorant, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, personal care)

All donations and gift cards can be dropped off at the church office Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM until 4:30 PM.  Items can also be sent directly to the church at 710 Mimosa Boulevard, Roswell, GA, 30075.

Backpacks of Love serves homeless and at risk children and their families in Forsyth and North Fulton counties. They deliver backpacks of food and other needed items to 18 different schools, as well as Jesse’s House, an emergency shelter for adolescent women in Forsyth County. Since its inception in 2011, Backpacks of Love has delivered over 225,000 pounds of food and other essentials in approximately 11,250 backpacks.
