Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child is here!  Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, an international relief organization. Their mission is to provide local partners around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ. Shoeboxes are shipped outside the United States to children affected by war, poverty, natural disaster, famine, and disease; and to children living on Native American reservations in the United States.

This year, we are offering 3 shoebox options:

• Pack and return filled shoeboxes to church
• Build a shoebox online (see link below)
• Donate money and our youth will shop and fill shoeboxes for you (direct funds to Operation Christmas Child)

Pick up a free shoebox  at the church office, the Narthex, or the Information Center.  Don’t forget to add a $9 donation to ensure that your shoebox can travel around the world to a child. Help us reach our goal of sending 300 shoeboxes to children in need!
