Pastor’s Bible Study – Faithful Citizenship
Led by Dr. Greg DeLoach in the Chapel
What does it mean to be a citizen of a nation, but also a citizen of the Kingdom of God? How can and should we as Christians today participate in the divisive landscape we find ourselves in? Join Dr. DeLoach as we explore these questions together.
Ladies Bible Study – The Gospel on the Ground, by Kristi McLelland
Led by Ruth Johnson and Lynn Lynch in Room 352
Join biblical culturalist Kristi McLelland as she unpacks the life of the early church in the book of Acts and shows us that the Kingdom of God is always on the move, always looking outward to bring meaning and joy to a world searching for true fulfillment and hope.
Book Club – The Lives We Actually Have: 100 Blessings for Imperfect Days
Led by Sarah McBride and Doyle Hamilton, Counseling Center
If you have you ever needed a blessing to just put one foot in front of the other, when you feel stretched too thin, when you can’t find peace, for aging gracefully, when it’s been a great day, when the unthinkable happens, for an overwhelming day, for a garbage day, for beginnings and endings, or for the courage to do something difficult; we hope you will join us in reading “The Lives We Actually Have: 100 Blessings for Imperfect Days.” Each week, we’ll read 20 pages (or less!) of blessings, and then meet to discuss. This book club is designed for parents, but all are welcome. Book provided to all participants.
