Understanding the Bible

Led by Dr. Kevin Head in the Chapel

Every Sunday that our church comes together, we read and study the Bible together.  Yet there are may be so much that we have questions about or don’t understand.  Join Dr. Head in the Chapel throughout the fall for an extensive study on the Bible, as we seek to answer questions like:

• How did we get our Bible and who decided which books should be included?
• Why are there so many different versions of the Bible?
• Does the Bible have errors?

Come join us as we explore these questions together!

The Life of David

Led by Dr. Daniel Vestal in Room 357

This 6-week series, offered through the Christian Leadership Formation program of the Baugh Center, seeks to bring seminary-level education into the local church.  Led by Dr. Daniel Vestal, attendees will study Israel’s greatest king and one of the most important persons who has ever lived.  They will explore the David story and seek to relate the events and relationships of David’s life to the practice of Christian discipleship in today’s world.  Cost is $50.

Elijah:  Faith & Fire, Ladies Bible Study

Led by Ruth Johnson & Lynn Lynch in Room 352

All ladies are invited to join for this 7 session study.  Journey through the life and times of the prophet Elijah to discover how the fire on Mount Camel was forged in the valley of the famine.  And how the emboldened, fiery faith you desire is being fashioned by God in your life right now.  Cost is $10 for the book.
